Timestamp · VisitStamp: Timestamp Camera

Timestamped photos, optional GPS, job records and photographic reports stored locally.

Updated: 4 October 2026Android & iOSiOS: com.focusproduction.timestamp

Who is responsible

This privacy policy applies to Timestamp · VisitStamp: Timestamp Camera for Android and iOS, where available. iOS bundle identifier: com.focusproduction.timestamp. FocusProduction is the developer and the controller for personal data it handles in connection with the app and support. Contact: tendalinoino@gmail.com.

The app does not require a FocusProduction account. Data handled by Android, iOS, your chosen storage providers, Google and Apple services is also governed by those providers’ privacy notices.

Android and iOS coverage

This policy covers both Android and iOS editions. AdMob advertising and optional in-app purchases are covered on both platforms. Availability, permissions, feature sets and local file handling may differ by edition. Details expressly identified as iOS describe that edition; the corresponding Android features apply where offered. The same public policy address covers both platforms.

Data used by the app

The app uses selected or captured photos, capture dates and times, time-zone information, source metadata and optional location to create timestamped copies and organise photographic records. Photos and records may identify people, clients, workplaces or private locations. Processing takes place on your device.

In the iOS edition, a job can contain a title, client, site, scope notes and a timeline of photos categorised as Before, In progress, After or Issue. The local library stores original images, thumbnails, photo observations, capture provenance, optional GPS coordinates and accuracy, company details, logos and preferences. These are used for searching, editing, stamps and photographic PDF reports.

Imported originals preserve their original bytes and embedded metadata, including valid EXIF capture dates and GPS coordinates. Imported photos use their valid embedded GPS rather than your current device position. If a source time zone is unknown, the device’s current zone is used for the timestamp interpretation. Stamped copies and reports are rendered separately, leaving originals available.

On iOS, location-display settings control what is shown on rendered copies. Newly rendered JPEGs do not retain hidden source GPS metadata, but preserved originals can still contain EXIF GPS. A visible location stamp or coordinates in a report remain disclosed to anyone you share it with. Hiding a location on a stamp does not remove location from an original file.

Permissions and device access

On Android, camera access is used when taking a photo in the app; the photo/file picker or media/storage permission where required grants access for imports and exports. Where optional location stamping is available, location permission enables it. Network access supports AdMob, consent choices and Google Play Billing.

On iOS, camera permission enables in-app capture. The system Photos or Files picker grants access to selected imports, and saving stamped copies to Photos may require permission. Optional location permission allows a fresh, precise GPS fix for a camera capture. Location is omitted if an appropriate fix is unavailable, stale or too imprecise; location updates stop when capture no longer needs them or the app leaves the foreground.

You can refuse or revoke optional location access and continue using photos and time stamps without a newly obtained GPS fix. Embedded GPS in an imported photo can still be read from that selected file without obtaining current device location. Review permissions in Android or iOS settings; permission names and features differ by platform.

Sharing and external services

Photos, job/client/site details, observations, logos and precise GPS records are not uploaded to FocusProduction or advertisers. The app does not operate a FocusProduction account or cloud job library. Local stamp generation and reports do not require sending content to a developer server.

Exporting or sharing a photo, original or report passes that file and any included personal information to your chosen app or storage destination. A cloud-backed picker or destination may download, upload or synchronise selected files under that provider’s privacy policy. Check visible locations, client details and original EXIF metadata before sharing; app display settings cannot remove copies already shared.

Advertising and privacy choices

The Android and iOS editions use Google AdMob for advertising and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) for applicable consent and privacy choices. Depending on your choices, platform, settings and advertising mode, Google and participating advertising providers may process IP address (and approximate location inferred from it), device or app identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, app interactions, crash information and performance diagnostics. Purposes include delivering and measuring ads, operating the advertising service and preventing fraud. UMP may also process technical information and consent choices independently of whether an ad is displayed.

This advertising processing is separate from the local content described above. The app does not send selected media, logos, text, notes, job records or embedded content metadata to advertising providers. Non-personalised or limited ads can still involve technical data and device storage; they do not mean that no data is processed.

Use the app’s advertising privacy choices where offered to review or change applicable consent. Android settings also let you reset or delete the advertising ID, depending on your device and OS version. On iOS, identifiers may include app- or developer-scoped identifiers and, with the required permission, the advertising identifier (IDFA). Where tracking across other companies’ apps or websites is used, Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) authorisation is required first. ATT is separate from advertising consent. You can review tracking permission in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Withdrawing consent or permission does not erase information already lawfully processed.

See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s advertising information for provider practices and controls.

On iOS, advertising is subject to the applicable consent state managed by UMP. Optional Pro access removes in-app advertising. Any purchase changes future ad delivery; it does not retroactively erase information already processed by advertising or consent providers. Location used in a photo record is separate from approximate location inferred by an advertising provider from your IP address.

In-app purchases

Optional Pro purchases provide additional branding, stamp layouts, photographic PDF reports and removal of advertisements, depending on the edition. The iOS Pro product is a one-time non-consumable purchase, not a subscription. Available products and the store price are shown before you confirm.

On Android, purchases use Google Play Billing; on iOS, they use Apple’s in-app purchase service (StoreKit). The relevant store handles checkout, payment details and its store account. The app receives product identifiers, purchase tokens or signed transaction information, transaction dates and purchase or entitlement status to verify, provide and restore purchased access, including changes after a refund or revocation. FocusProduction does not receive your full payment-card number through these purchase flows.

Purchase verification and restoration communicate with the relevant store. Google and Apple retain transaction records under their own privacy policies; limited sales or transaction reports may also be made available to the developer. Purchase-related app information is used for purchased access, support and applicable accounting or legal obligations. It is separate from the local content you create or process in the app.

Use the store account that made the purchase to restore eligible purchased access. Deleting app data or uninstalling does not erase store transaction records or automatically refund a purchase. Manage purchases and refund requests through the relevant store. See Google’s Privacy Policy and App Store & Privacy.

Retention, backups and deletion

In the iOS edition, the private local library contains job records, photo originals, thumbnails and logos. Archiving a job retains it; it is not deletion. Use the available deletion controls to remove jobs or photos. If local file cleanup fails, an unused file may remain in private app storage; the app reports the cleanup limitation. Temporary sharing exports are removed after the share sheet completes or is cancelled.

Deleting a job, photo or the app does not delete the source in Photos or Files, previously exported stamped copies, PDF reports or copies held by recipients. Remove those files separately.

Local app content remains in app storage until you remove it using the available app controls, clear app storage where supported, or delete the app, subject to the temporary-file handling described in this section. FocusProduction cannot remotely retrieve or delete content that remains only on your device.

On Android, clearing app storage or uninstalling removes private app data. Exported files and copies in shared storage, your gallery or another app must be deleted separately. Android or device-manufacturer backup and migration tools may copy eligible app data depending on the app’s exclusions, OS version and your settings. Manage those copies through your device or backup provider.

On iOS, choose Delete App to remove its local documents and data; Offload App preserves them. Copies saved to Photos, Files or another destination must be deleted separately. Eligible app data may be included in iCloud or computer backups, subject to app exclusions and your device settings. Manage those copies through Apple’s backup controls. Restoring a backup may restore local records. System backups and user-selected cloud destinations are separate from an app-operated cloud service.

Deleting local data does not automatically delete advertising, consent or purchase records held by Google, Apple or another provider. Their retention depends on the data type, your settings, security needs and legal obligations. See Google’s retention policy and Apple’s Privacy Policy. Your choices and privacy rights

We use information needed to provide the features you request and to respond to support requests. Where consent is required for optional access or advertising, the applicable permission or consent control is used. Our legitimate interests include maintaining service security and handling support; legal obligations may require retention of certain correspondence or transaction information.

Where applicable, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of personal data that FocusProduction holds, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Write to tendalinoino@gmail.com, naming the app and your request. For local-only records, use the device and app controls described above. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority; in Italy, this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

Security and international processing

App content is processed in local app storage or memory as described for the relevant edition. Android or iOS controls access to private app data. Protect your device and review files before exporting them. Email and any provider you choose to share with are separate communication channels.

If you email support or open this website, the relevant mail or hosting provider may process data in countries other than yours under its published privacy terms and applicable transfer safeguards. Google services may likewise process data internationally using safeguards described in Google’s privacy policy, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses where applicable. Advertising SDK transmissions use TLS encryption. Apple services, where used for purchases, backups or device features, may process data internationally under Apple’s privacy policy and applicable transfer safeguards.
