Who is responsible
This policy applies to Exact Size + PDF for iPhone and iPad (iOS/iPadOS 17 or later), bundle ID com.focusproduction.exactsize. FocusProduction is responsible for the data it handles through the app and through support. Privacy contact: tendalinoino@gmail.com.
No FocusProduction account is needed for the conversion features described here. Apple and Google handle data for their own services under their respective privacy notices.
Images, PDFs and local processing
The app accesses only the photos or files you select or share with it. Inputs can include still images such as JPEG, PNG and HEIC, and unprotected PDF documents. Selected images and PDFs may themselves contain personal information, faces, document contents, file names or embedded metadata such as capture details and location. The app uses the selected content, its format, orientation and dimensions to preview, resize, crop, convert and create output files. A PDF title you enter becomes part of the output.
Processing takes place on your device. Original imports are held in the app’s private temporary directory; PDF pages are written to local storage during creation. FocusProduction does not receive the contents of your imports or outputs through an online processing service. The app rejects unsupported, animated, damaged, encrypted or oversized inputs according to its limits.
You choose export dimensions, DPI, crop and background settings. An exported image or PDF can retain personal information present in its visible content, title or file metadata. Do not assume metadata has been removed; review a file before sharing it.
Presets, usage limits and purchase state
The app stores your saved presets in local preferences. To apply the free version’s daily limits and optional rewarded-ad credit, it also uses local information about export counts, successful exports, reward availability and entitlement status. These records support the app’s export limits and features. StoreKit purchase information is handled as described below.
Photos, Files and sharing
You can import through the iOS Photos library or Files. Access to the selected items is controlled by the system picker or the Photos permission presented for the feature used. You can change a granted Photos permission in iOS Settings. Files outside the app’s private storage are accessed when you select them. The app does not need access to your current device location to process an image that may already contain location metadata.
Exports use the iOS share sheet. The destination you select, such as Files, iCloud Drive, Photos, Mail or another app, receives the output you share and handles it under its own privacy policy. A user-selected cloud destination is separate from an upload to a FocusProduction server.
Advertising and privacy choices
The free edition uses Google AdMob for banner and occasional interstitial ads. An additional free PDF can be unlocked by choosing to watch a rewarded ad. The Remove Ads and Pro Lifetime purchases remove banner and interstitial advertising; rewarded ads are requested only when you choose that option. Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) manages the applicable consent message and privacy options before ad requests are made where required.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK and advertising partners may process your IP address, which can indicate approximate location, device or app identifiers, ad views and interactions, app interactions, crash logs and performance or diagnostic data. They use these for advertising, measurement, analytics, fraud prevention and service operation. Your imported images, PDFs, PDF titles and presets are not supplied to AdMob as ad content or targeting data.
If advertising across other companies’ apps or websites requires Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission, iOS asks for it before access to the advertising identifier (IDFA). You can decline or change tracking permission in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. UMP consent and ATT permission are separate controls; limited or non-personalised ads may still process technical data. You can reopen advertising privacy options in the app where offered. In-app purchases
Remove Ads and Pro Lifetime are non-consumable purchases handled through Apple StoreKit 2. The app receives product identifiers, signed transaction or entitlement information and purchase status to unlock and restore the corresponding features. Apple processes the payment and keeps transaction records under Apple’s Privacy Policy; the app does not receive your full payment-card number. Removing the app does not remove Apple’s purchase record.
Retention, deletion and backups
Presets and local usage records remain for their app functions until removed through an available app control or by deleting the app. Original imports and working outputs are kept in private temporary storage while needed for processing; an exact expiry time is not promised. iOS may clear temporary files, and the app may remove incomplete outputs during cleanup. To remove the app’s local documents and data, choose Delete App in iOS Settings. Offload App keeps the app’s documents and data.
Delete exported copies separately from Files, Photos, iCloud Drive or any other destination you chose. Eligible app data can be included in iCloud or computer backups depending on your settings and platform rules; restoring a backup can restore data. Manage those backups in Apple’s settings. FocusProduction cannot remotely delete data held only on your device, by Apple, or by your selected sharing destination.
Deleting local app data does not erase AdMob consent, advertising or StoreKit transaction records held by Google or Apple. Their retention follows the provider’s policy, your settings and applicable legal duties. Use the relevant provider’s privacy controls or contact us for help directing a request.
Your choices and rights
Data used locally to provide the functions you request is processed for that purpose. Where consent is required for optional Photos access or advertising, the applicable system or consent control is used. We handle support requests and service security based on the relevant legal grounds, including legitimate interests where applicable, and retain information when law requires it.
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of personal data held by FocusProduction, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact tendalinoino@gmail.com with the app name and your request. Local-only files must be managed on your device or at their export destination. You may complain to your local data-protection authority; in Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Security and international processing
Imports and generated files are processed in private app storage or memory on the device; iOS controls access to that storage. Keep your device secure and check outputs before sharing them. AdMob and purchase transactions involve Google or Apple services, which may process data internationally under their published safeguards and policies. Advertising SDK data is transmitted using encrypted connections. A share-sheet destination has its own security and retention practices.
Support and changes to this policy
If you email us, we receive the address, message and attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer and retain correspondence only as needed for follow-up or legal obligations. Avoid attaching personal documents unless needed for support. To request deletion of support correspondence, contact tendalinoino@gmail.com.
